Checking Engine Cylinders with an Electronic Service Tool

运行 "Cylinder Cutout Test（断缸测试）"之前，必须纠正所有激活的诊断代码。 在发动机运转时，利用该测试对工作不正常的喷油器进行诊断。 切断正常喷油器时，其余喷油器 "Delivered Fuel Volume（输送的燃油量）"应改变。 "Delivered Fuel Volume（输送的燃油量）"改变是由于其余每个气缸的额外负载造成的。 如果切断工作不正常的喷油器，其余喷油器 "Delivered Fuel Volume（输送的燃油量） "将不改变。 "Cylinder Cutout Test（断缸测试）" 用来隔离出工作不正常的喷油器，避免更换正常的喷油器。
"Injector Solenoid Test（喷油器电磁阀测试）"
在发动机不运转时使用 "Injector Solenoid Test（喷油器电磁阀测试）" 来帮助诊断开路或短路。 该测试短时间激活每个电磁阀。 正常电磁阀在启动时会发出卡嗒声。 Cat ET 将电磁阀的状态显示为 "OK（正常）"、"Open（开路）"或 "Short（短路）"。
