Solenoid (Swing Brake)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J2-1 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J2-3 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the swing brake solenoid to turn the swing brake ON and OFF. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Solenoid (Travel Brake)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J2-7 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J2-3 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the travel brake solenoid to turn the travel brake ON and OFF. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Solenoid (Swing Pressure)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J1-12 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J1-7 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the solenoid to switch the swing motor between high pressure and low pressure. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Solenoid (Bottom Dump Open)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J2-13 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J2-3 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the solenoid to open the bottom dump of the bucket. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Solenoid (Bottom Dump Close)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J2-19 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J2-3 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the solenoid to close the bottom dump of the bucket. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Solenoid (Dual Pressure)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J2-2 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J2-3 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the solenoid (dual pressure) to switch between high hydraulic pressure and low hydraulic pressure. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Solenoid (Cooler Blocker)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J2-8 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J2-3 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the (solenoid) cooler blocker to block the flow of hydraulic oil threw the hydraulic cooler during cold hydraulic oil conditions. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Solenoid (Horn)
Illustration 2 | g00842876 |
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J1-18 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J1-7 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the horn solenoid to turn the horn ON and OFF. The ECM provides 24 DCV in order to energize the solenoid.
Proportional Solenoid Valves
Solenoid (Hydraulic Demand Fan)
The solenoid is an output of the machine ECM. The solenoid has a connector with two contacts. Contact 1 of the solenoid is connected to contact J1-4 of the machine ECM. Contact 2 of the solenoid is connected to the contact J1-7 (solenoid return) of the machine ECM. The machine ECM uses the hydraulic demand fan solenoid to modulate the speed of the fan. The hydraulic demand fan solenoid is a proportional type of solenoid. The ECM uses a pulse width modulated signal (PWM) to modulate the travel of the solenoid. This controls the speed of the fan. The duty cycle of the PWM signal is varied according to the temperature of the hydraulic system and an internal map for fan speed in the control's software. When the temperature of the hydraulic system is high, the solenoid is de-energized and the fan is at maximum speed. During normal operating temperatures, the machine ECM energizes the solenoid. The machine ECM varies the duty cycle, if necessary. The solenoid is de-energized if the engine is not ON.
