Water Pump - Install - 3013, 3014, and 3024 Engines
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Remove all debris and gasket material from the mating surfaces of the water pump and the cylinder head.
- Put gasket (7) in position on the engine.

- Put water pump (5) in position on the engine and install bolts (4) and nut (6). Tighten bolts (4) and nut (6) that fastens the water pump on the engine.

- Put the alternator bracket in position and install bolt (3) on the water pump.

- Install hose (2) and hose (1) on the water pump and tighten the hose clamps.
- Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" topic for more information.
End By: Install the pulley and the fan on the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
