Installation Procedure

1. Install bolts (7) that hold elbows (8) to the engine oil filter base.

   Note: Before assembly, check the condition of the O-ring seals. If the O-ring seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

2. Ensure that the O-ring seals are in position on the engine oil filter base. Put oil filter base (5) in position on the engine oil cooler and the cylinder block.

3. Install bolts (6) that hold the engine oil filter base to the engine oil cooler.

4. Install nuts (4) that hold the engine oil filter base to the engine oil cooler.

5. Connect tube assembly for turbocharger oil (3).

6. Install plug (1).

7. Install oil filter (2).

   Note: Install oil filter (2) by hand. The directions are on the oil filter.

8. Fill the engine crankcase with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" in the Maintenance Section.
