Problem
Assets that have legacy sat and or cell devices where the dealer has either replaced or incorrectly added a Cat device are failing, when the Dealer Service Portal (DSP) attempts to auto transfer the device from legacy sat to new gen. This issue is due to that the back-office cannot create a subscription for a next Gen device when a subscription already exists on a legacy device.
Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but a permanent repair has not been identified. As an interim action, users experiencing the issue can unsubscribe assets with legacy devices from the Trimble store before attempting to subscribe the device in DSP.
