Description Of Change: The swing bearings have been improved on the machines listed above.
The special instruction referenced above contains information that pertains to the rework procedure for retrofitting greasable bearings for the main frame and the swing cylinder trunnions on certain F-Series backhoe loaders.
The new greasable bearings enhance the service life of the swing bearings.
Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

New lubrication points (A) Grease fittings for the bearing on the top of the swing cylinders (B) Grease fittings for the bearing on the bottom of the swing cylinders (C) Swing cylinder | |
Refer to Illustration 1 for the new lubrication points. Apply lubricant to the grease fittings (A) and (B) every 10 service hours or daily. Repeat for the other swing cylinder.
