Description Of Change: New relief valve group in the transmission hydraulic control is now used on machine listed above. A new spring in the relief valve group provides more accurate system pressure.
Adaptable To: The improved relief valve group is adaptable to the machines within the listed serial numbers, and is effective in production with all the machines after the listed serial numbers.

The former 279-2539 Relief Valve Gp can be reworked by replacing 1M-9351 Spring with a 570-1149 Spring.
Note: The 1M-9351 Spring and 570-1149 Spring look identical, so take proper precaution to prevent from mixing up the springs. If the old valve is replaced with a new spring, label the valve in a suitable fashion so that it can be determined in the future that the valve has been reworked.
If the relief valve group has been replaced or updated, the following procedures must be performed prior to returning the machine to service:
Testing and Adjusting, "Engagement Pressure for the Transmission Clutch - Calibrate"
Testing and Adjusting, "Fill Time for the Transmission Clutch - Calibrate"
