Introduction
The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
Reports have been received that there is insufficient sealing of the cab door with the cab. This may allow dust/moisture ingress into the cab.
Solution
Do not operate or work on this product unless you have read and understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death. Proper care is your responsibility. |
Adjust the door in the proper way by referring to Special Instruction , REHS4220 , "Improved Door Seal and Wiper Motor Covers" - , "Repair Instructions For The Door Seal". Prior to readjustment, take a picture of the condition of cab door gap. Provide the pictures and additional information along with TIB Media number , M0098627, CPI number 428364, and the machine S/N to the Dealer Technical Communicator (TC). Request the Dealer TC to submit the information through CPI feedback within the Service Information Management System (SIMSi).
