The parking brake relay valve (1) controls the release and apply of the 4-corner wet park brakes. Pressure reduced pilot oil actuates the relay valve to release the park brakes at approximately the same reduced pressure.

Parking brake relay valve (P) Pressure Port from Control Manifold (T) Port to Tank Return (3) Pilot Pressure Port | |
Oil is supplied from the control manifold to port (P). The oil is routed to the tank return port (T) while the machine is in park. When the machine is taken out of park, the control manifold sends pilot oil to port (3) and actuates relay valve (1). The oil supplied from the control manifold to port (P) is then pressure reduced through the relay valve to port (A) to release the 4-corner wet park brakes. The regulated pressure supplied at port (A) is similar to pilot supply pressure at port (3).
