Improved Lighting Harness Assembly to Improve Worklight Switch life Is Now available for Certain Telehandlers {1434}

Usage:

Telehandler: TL1055 (S/N: TBM1-UP); TL1055C (S/N: MDD1-UP; KDE1-UP); TL1255 (S/N: TBN1-UP); TL1255C (S/N: SXM1-UP; DHW1-UP); TL642 (S/N: TBK1-UP); TL642C (S/N: THG1-UP; THL1-UP); TL943 (S/N: TBL1-UP); TL943C (S/N: SXH1-UP; THH1-UP)

An improved lighting harness assembly to improve worklight switch life is now available for the machines listed above. The improved lighting harness will reduce the load on the switch.

The following changes are now available for the products within the listed serial numbers.

Note: These machines use a bolt on rotating beacon, if equipped

Locate the X7 connector in the 529-0136 Lighting Harness As. Leg of the harness is 431.8 mm (17.00 inch) long and ends with terminals.
Cut off and discard 330.2 mm (13.00 inch) from the end of the X7 leg, leaving 101.6 mm (4.00 inch) in place.
Assemble the Deutsche terminals and plug onto the remaining end of the X7 leg.
Pin 1 is the Yellow Beacon wire.
Pin 2 is the Black Beacon ground wire.
Remove the 303-4915 Lighting Harness As or 375-3915 Lighting Harness As from the machine and replace the harness with the improved 529-0136 Lighting Harness As.
Test the work lights and beacon, if equipped.

Note: Machines will continue to use the current work light 304-4551 Switch. It is recommended to replace the work light 304-4551 Switch when the improved 529-0136 Lighting Harness As is installed.

The former 473-4517 Wiring Harness has been canceled and replaced with the improved 529-0136 Lighting Harness As. Install the improved 529-0136 Lighting Harness As and test the work lights and beacon, if equipped.
