Under Operator Platform (1) Flushing valve |
Flushing valve (1) is under the operator platform. The deck plates can be removed to provide access to this manifold.
When the supply pump produces flow, oil flushes through the circuit. Oil in the high-pressure circuit causes the spool in flushing valve (1) to shift. Oil in the low-pressure circuit now flows to the internal flushing relief valve.
The flushing relief valve opens at a pressure that is lower than the setting of the charge relief valve in the supply pump. Therefore, the flushing relief valve opens when the supply pump is producing flow. The open flushing relief valve results in oil being flushed through the hydrostatic circuit.
Loop flushing flow is directed to the cases of the propel motors, where it is combined with case drain flow of the respective motor. The case drain flow of all the propel motors is combined and directed to the cooler bypass valve.
