The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Hose clamp (A) in heater lines group may fail on the machines listed above.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but an interim repair has not been defined. In the event of failure replace the failed hose clamp (A) with the new 9X-2488 Hose Clamp.
