    ------ WARNING! ------

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

  14. Install 11 M5 X 0.8 X 20 mm socket head screws (37) in thrust plate (35) to compress nine springs (34) and relieve the spring pressure on retaining ring (36).

  15. Remove retaining ring (36) from spindle (22).

  16. Remove piston (33) from the spindle.

  17. Remove backup ring (41) and O-ring seal (42) from spindle (22). Remove backup ring (32) and O-ring seal (31) from the spindle .

  18. Remove six plates (39), seven disks (40), and end plate (38) from spindle (22).

  19. Loosen 11 socket head screws (37) evenly to relieve the spring pressure on thrust plate (35). Remove the socket head screws. Remove the thrust plate and nine springs (34) from piston (33).
