New procedures for retrofitting lift arms are now available for the sales models listed above. There is one lift arm being offered out of the factory for the machines listed above. Modifications may be necessary to retrofit the new arm for an older machine.

Refer to the Special Instructions listed above for retrofitting instructions and part information. Refer to Table 1 for a list of the sales models associated with each Special Instruction.

The Special Instructions are available through the normal literature distribution system. The publication can also be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS).
