New Gear Pump Groups are Now Used on the 773G and 775G Off-Highway Trucks {5073}

Usage:

773G LRC MWH
Quarry Truck
773G (S/N: MWH1-422; T5S1-126)
775G (S/N: RFM1-963; T5W1-112)

Description Of Change: The hoist and brake pump group has been updated for the 773G, and 775G machines. The updated pump group contains increased flow efficiency from the brake charge pump, and improved high-pressure lubrication to all pump bushings.

Two configurations are available. One configuration contains a new hoist pump with mounting capability for a brake charge pump with improved high-pressure bearing lubrication and improved flow efficiency.

The second configuration contains only a new brake charge pump with improved high-pressure bearing lubrication.

The new 485-9673 Gear Pump Gp (1) replaces the former 513-8325 Gear Pump Gp.

The new 497-3513 Gear Pump Gp (2) replaces the former 455-9314 Gear Pump Gp.

Together, the new 485-9673 Gear Pump Gp (1) and the new 497-3513 Gear Pump Gp (2) form the new 527-8934 Hydraulic Pump Gp. Refer to Table 2.

The new 490-8134 Tube As (3) supersedes the former 517-8155 Tube As. The new 527-8712 Hose As (7A) or the new 542-0198 Hose As (7B) supersedes the former 490-8137 Hose As. The new hose assembly used will depend on the machine serial number. Refer to Note (1), and Note (2) in Table 1.

Mount the charge pump to the hoist pump before you mount the gear pump group to the machine. Install one O-Ring seal (6) between gear pump group (2) and gear pump group (1). Use two new bolts (4), and two new hard washers (5) to install gear pump group (2) to gear pump group (1). Use the existing hardware to install new tube assembly (3) to gear pump group (2).

Use the existing hardware to install the 60 degree end of hose assembly (7A) or (7B) to pump group (2). Install the other end of the hose assembly to the brake charge oil filter group.

The following information is the second configuration for machines equipped with Tier 2 engines. The second configuration contains only the new brake charge pump and improved high-pressure bearing lubrication for improved bushing service life.
