Description Of Change: An improved tube assembly is now used in the pump group lines on the machines listed above. The manufacturing process for the tube assembly has been improved. The design of tube assembly increases the strength and service life.

Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

In 12 M/M2/M3, 140 M/M2/M3, 160 M/M2/M3, 14L Motor Grader, manufacturing process improvements have been implemented on 246-6332 Tube As (1) and 393-8148 Tube As (2) as shown in Illustration 1.

In 14M Motor Grader, manufacturing process improvements have been implemented on 324-6331 Tube As (3) as shown in Illustration 2.

The process improvement was implemented with lot code 283967. This six-digit lot code is located on a metal tag on the tube, right after the seven-digit part number as shown in Illustration 3. Replace the tube with one that has a lot code greater than this number, if a machine has an issue with existing tube.
