Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.
Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
- Use a suitable press with Tooling (D) and Tooling (F) to compress the clutch assembly (7).
Note: Apply only enough pressure to collar (9) to compress clutch assembly (7).
- Install snap ring (8) at location (X).
