When the electrical disconnect switch is in the ON position, power is available to the unswitched fuses in fuse and relay module (1).
Unswitched power transfers from fuse "F32" (7) to terminals "J1-31", "J1-39", and "J1-47" of machine ECM (11). This voltage input provides power for the ECM. The machine ECM is grounded through terminals "J1-13", "J1-23", and "J1-57". Fuse "F32" is rated at 20 amp.
When the machine key switch is in the ON position, power is available to the switched fuses in fuse and relay module (1). Power is also available to switched fuses through the delayed switch power (DSP) relay on the main power relay module. Fuses powered through the DSP relay are identified as "D" fuses.
Switched power transfers from fuse "D8" (4) to terminal "12" of tractor display (3). The voltage input from fuse "D8" provides main power to the display. Fuse "D8" is rated at 10 amp.
Switched power transfers from fuse "D5" (5) to terminal "12" of optional screed display (15). The voltage signal from fuse "D5" provides main power to the display. Fuse "D5" is rated at 5 amp.
Switched power transfers from fuse "F11" (6) to terminal "11" of tractor display (3) and optional screed display (15). The voltage signal from fuse "F11" provides a wakeup signal to the displays. Fuse "F11" is rated at 10 amp.
Washdown relay (10) receives power from fuse "F15" (8) at contact "86" of the relay. The voltage signal from fuse "F15" energizes the relay coil when the circuit is complete. Terminal "J2-10" of machine ECM (11) provides a ground path for contact "85" of the washdown relay coil. Fuse "F15" is rated at 7.5 amp.
Washdown relay (10) also receives power from fuse "F8" (9) at contact "30" of the relay. The voltage from fuse "F8" provides power for washdown motor (12) when the relay is energized. Fuse "F8" is rated at 10 amp.
When the washdown switch on any display is activated, machine ECM (11) grounds the coil of washdown relay (10). In this case, contact "87" of the relay closes to contact "30". This action transfers power to pin "1" of washdown motor (12). Since the motor is grounded through pin "2", the motor operates to drive the pump. The machine ECM maintains the ground circuit to the coil until the washdown timer expires, or until the operator changes the washdown status from ON to OFF.
When the washdown system is activated, machine ECM (11) resets and initiates the washdown timer. If the timer elapses before the system is turned off, the machine ECM automatically toggles the status of the system from ON to OFF. The timer is configured through the operator display.
