Usage:

2570D D25

Illustration 1g06099818

  • Turn the engine start switch to the ON position. The alert message for accumulator pressure should display on the monitor screen if the braking system is not at normal operating pressure.

  • Start the engine. Run the engine at half speed for 2 minutes to increase the accumulator pressure. The alert message for brake system should go off.

  • Stop the engine. Apply the service brake pedal for 1 second. Then release the service brake pedal for 1 second. Five applications of the service brake pedal are required to reach accumulator precharge. The alert should display after applying the service brake five times.

  • If the alert displays before five applications of the brake pedal, measure the accumulator precharge pressure. Your authorized dealer can measure the nitrogen gas pressure in the accumulator. Use only dry nitrogen gas for recharging.
