Note: All joints of the link assembly must have flexibility even with a measurable end play of zero. Flexibility is the ability for movement from the weight of the link assembly.
Use the following procedure in order to tighten the track bolts:
- Tighten the track bolts to 400 ± 70 N·m (300 ± 50 lb ft).
- Tighten the track bolts to an additional 120 ± 5 degrees.
The maximum assembly force for the link assembly is 645000 N (14500 lb).
The assembly force for the master pin (2) is 385000 N (86550 lb).
(A) Protrusion for the master bushing ... 0.00 ± 0.25 mm (0.000 ± 0.010 inch)
(B) Distance between the bolt holes ... 179.00 ± 0.37 mm (7.047 ± 0.015 inch)
(C) Distance between the bolt holes ... 129.00 ± 0.37 mm (5.079 ± 0.015 inch)
(D) Protrusion for each end of the standard bushing ... 9.20 ± 0.25 mm (0.362 ± 0.010 inch)
(E) Protrusion at one end of the standard pin (1) ... 2.00 ± 0.70 mm (0.079 ± 0.028 inch)
