Engine Storage
如果发动机几周不起动，润滑油将从缸壁和活塞环中流出。 缸套上可能会生锈。 锈迹会增加发动机磨损并降低发动机使用寿命。
为防止发动机过度磨损，遵守下列准则：
- 遵循专门说明书, SEHS9031, "Caterpillar 产品贮存步骤"中的说明，以便做好发动机的贮存准备工作。
- 如果预计发动机会在冰冻温度下运转，检查冷却系统是否有足够的防冻保护。 请参阅本操作和保养手册, "冷却液概述"（保养部分）。
如果发动机不运转，或者没有计划使用发动机，应采取特殊的预防措施。 如果发动机将存放一个月以上，建议制订一个完整的防护步骤。
