New software is now available for all Cat^® Object Detection and Vision Applications on Certain Cat^® Products. The new software contains improvements and features that are listed below:

New Features

The new software comes with the features that are listed below:

• Support added for 797F (LTZ), and 793F (D3T).

• Front camera support for all supported Wheel Loaders is now available.

• Neutral and standby camera views are now retained through a machine key cycle.

• Updated Portuguese translation for "Object".

• Support for 68K VIMS trucks when radar profile code is set to "1" through Cat^® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) configuration tool.

• Updated French and Indonesian translations for "Rear Camera Reversed Mode".

• Updated French disclaimer translation.

Improvements

The new software has the following improvements:

• Updated to resolve false CDL diagnostics on 775D.

• Updated to resolve false CDL diagnostics on 24H.

• Updated to resolve CMPD user interface display to separate vision and radar functions.

• Updated to resolve blockage Fault Logic for consistency between Object Detection Stand Alone and Object Detection for Tope.

• Improved Stand Alone OD ground speed calculation.

Upgrading Over Older Software Versions

When upgrading to Object Detection version 3.5.1 on a display previously running software older than version 3.0, the display wash file 436-1568 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp should be loaded first to remove the older software file. After the wash file has been loaded the new software will need to be flashed using the J1939 flashing harness ( 345-7489 Monitor Harness As). Refer to the above mentioned reference for flashing instructions.

If you are uncertain of the software version, refer the display software part number in the system information window. The software version line will call out the software part number and older versions will list the part followed by V2.0. This will indicate that a wash is needed.

The new software comes with the following enhancements:

• New Zone Directional Indicator for system detections - Radar detections are now identified by quadrant on the lower left-side of the system information bar (3).

• New Camera View Directional Indicator - Camera view is now shown on the right-hand side of the screen next to the model number on the right-hand side of the system information screen (5).

New software part numbers are listed in Table 1.

• Display OS Requirement: D0 3.0

• Cat ET requirement: 2015C or newer

Carry Over

• Support for all models covered with v3.3 is continued.

• All features from v3.3 are carried forward including alarming modes.

• Support for the following languages is continued:

- Indonesian

- French
