Specification for 389-4597 Linkage Pin and Seal Gp

12  156-5916 Collet  Before assembly, outer diameter, inner diameter, and mating surfaces to be clean. Apply Loctite C5A copper anti seize to the outer diameter and inner diameter of the collet. 
20  7X-4786 Lip Type Seal  Before assembly, apply red Loctite 263 to the seals. 
3E-8009 Bolt  Before assembly, outer diameter, inner diameter, and mating surfaces to be clean:
1. Apply Loctite C5A copper anti seize to the threads of the bolt.
2. Tighten bolt to 1800 ± 200 N·m (1328 ± 148 lb ft).
3. Tap the joint until the torque drops lower than 950 N·m (701 lb ft).
4. Tighten bolt to 1800 ± 200 N·m (1328 ± 148 lb ft).
5. Apply a second impact until the torque drops to less than 1600 N·m (1180 lb ft).
6. Tighten bolt to 1800 ± 200 N·m (1328 ± 148 lb ft).
7. Torque bolt to 1800 ± 200 N·m (1328 ± 148 lb ft) after 50 hours of vehicle operation. 
Use shims as required to eliminate gaps between lift arm and bucket: 
12 422-1688 Shim  Thickness is 3.0 mm (0.12 inch)
6 422-1689 Shim  Thickness is 5.0 mm (0.20 inch)
420-1508 Pin Seal  Before assembly, apply red Loctite 263 to the bore. 
389-4907 Collet  Before assembly, outer diameter, inner diameter, and mating surfaces to be clean. Apply Loctite C5A copper anti seize to the outer diameter and inner diameter of the collet. 
3E-8011 Bolt  Before assembly, outer diameter, inner diameter, and mating surfaces to be clean:
1. Apply Loctite C5A copper anti seize to the threads of the bolt.
2. Tighten bolt to 1800 ± 200 N·m (1328 ± 148 lb ft).
