Hydraulic Tank Oil - Change

Usage:

MT4400D AC MH4

------ WARNING! ------

Hot oil and hot components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or hot components to contact the skin.

NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.

Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Note: Steering, brakes, and hoist share common hydraulic oil.

Note: It may be necessary to use a portable access system (ladder, stair assembly, man lift, or other portable access system) that is suitable and compliant to local regulations.

Note: The transfer reservoir system must be able to hold in excess of 1150 L (300 Gal) for the capacity of the tank and minimal drainage. There are nearly 1500 L (400 Gal) total in the system.
