Introduction

------ WARNING! ------

Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.

Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.

Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

----------------------

This document describes the procedure to install flaps to the hood and Upper Frame. These flaps help prevent limbs and debris from falling into the swivel area for the above listed models for the Track Feller Bunchers.

Note: Ensure that the part number for the improved flap installed on the hood is the latest revision as listed in Table 1.

Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8673, "521B and 522B Track Feller Bunchers", "Hood Tilting" for instructions on tilting the hood.
