Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed. Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death. Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder. |
- Raise the lift arms and place Tooling (A) under the center brace. Attach a suitable lifting device to lift cylinder (2). The weight of lift cylinder (2) is approximately
57 kg (125 lb) . Remove pin (3).Show/hide tableIllustration 2 g03034628 - Releases system pressure. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) from lift cylinder (2). Use a suitable lifting device to lower lift cylinder (2) onto blocking. Attach another suitable lifting device to lift cylinder (2). Remove pin (5). Remove lift cylinder (2).
