5. If a poor weld is found in a quadrant or there is any doubt, that quadrant should be removed and replaced with a new guard. 6. Guard should be lined up with fixing holes in shroud, while loosely fixing bolts into position. Fixing bolts should only be torqued up to 55Nm +/- 10 when all bolts have been lined up with fixing holes. No bolts should be forced into position during this assembly, as this would pre-stress the guard. 7. Each claim story must include 2 photographs. The first showing a close up of the failure and the second showing the position of the failure on the guard assembly i.e. where on the 1 o' clock to 12 o' clock position. Use image 1.4.1 to aid describing all failure locations. |
