The following procedure is used in order to test the Transmission Synchronizer Air Purge.
When testing and adjusting the transmission and power train, move the machine to an area clear of obstructions, with safe exhaust ventilation for the exhausts. Sudden movement of the machine or release of oil under pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent possible injury, do the procedure that follows before testing and adjusting the transmission and power train. |
- Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from working machines and personnel. Lower the work tools to the ground.
- Allow only one operator on the machine. Keep all personnel away from the machine or in the view of the operator.
- Engage the parking brake.
- Place the steering frame lock in the LOCKED position.

Use the following procedure to check Transmission Synchronizer Air Purge Test
Perform the steps in the "Machine Set Up" and then continue to the following steps.
- Select Transmission Synchronizer Air Purge Test.

Set up calibration conditions:
- Warm Transmission Oil to
20° C (68° F) or higher. - Move the direction switch to the neutral position.
- Apply the Parking Brake.
- Fully release the brake pedal.

To abort the test, click the Cancel Button.
Note: Engine Speed will be automatically adjusted during this test.
