When reporting the repair, use "PS45204" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. |
Replace the thermostats located in the housing behind the expansion tank with the new 441-0371 thermostats. Remove the heat exchanger from the engine. Disassembly Procedure |
Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, KENR6055, to disassemble the heat exchanger. |
Remove 48 plates (along with gaskets) starting from the SCAC side until reaching plate number 15. |

Assembly Procedure |
Take the plate numbers 44, 45, 46 and 47 (along with the gaskets) from the SCAC side and place them between plate numbers 15 and 16 while maintaining the same order (44, 45, 46 and 47). Make sure the chevrons are facing opposite to each other. |

Replace plate #62 with the new 449-3063 Plate As-Channel. Inspect plate #63 for corrosion damage and replace if needed. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, KENR6055, to reassemble the heat exchanger. |
