Available Rebuild Options For Flexxaire Fans{1356}

Usage:

All Applicable Machines

Description of Change: The Flexxaire Engine Temperature Control System is designed for a service life of 10,000 to 15,000 hours. This service life is achievable when routine maintenance is performed on the fan. The following options are available to dealers.

1. Remanufactured Mechanical Fan: A fully reconditioned mechanical fan built from an existing core with new parts, as required, allows for the least amount of downtime. This option can be coordinated to coincide with an engine rebuild, if needed. A prorated core charge is applied. The remanufactured mechanical fan comes with a Limited Six (6) Month Warranty.

2. Factory Rebuilt Fan: A fully rebuilt mechanical fan that is built from the original fan that was on the machine. Any parts that are in good condition will be checked and replaced as required. No core charge will exist. This option can be coordinated to coincide with an engine rebuild, if needed. There is approximately a two to three day turn-around time to have a fan rebuilt by the factory. The factory rebuilt fan comes with a Limited Six (6) Month Warranty.

3. Dealer/Customer Rebuild: The dealer or customer may rebuild the fan. No core charges exist, except for remanufactured parts or assemblies that are ordered to complete the process. Any individual that is going to attempt a fan rebuild should attend the Flexxaire Fan Rebuild Training Seminar before rebuilding any fan. The warranty on any ordered parts is Ninety (90) Days.
