Removal Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the rear drive shaft.
- Remove the piston pump.
- Use a suitable lifting device to raise the machine to a height of 91.4 mm (3.60 inch) between the ground and the side step. The weight of the machine is approximately 7600 kg (16755 lb).
- Place Tooling (A) under rear frame (1) .

- Place Tooling (B) under front axle (2) .

- Remove inspection plate (3).

- Install Tooling (D) to support the engine.

- Remove plug (4) and drain the transmission oil into a suitable container. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9921, "Transmission Oil-Change" for proper draining procedure.

- Disconnect three harness assemblies (5) .

- Support transmission (6) with Tooling (C) . The weight of transmission (6) is approximately 200 kg (441 lb).

- Loosen bolt (7) and slide rod assembly (8) off the transmission lever.

- Disconnect hose assembly (9) .

- Remove the four bolts (10) .
- Repeat Step 11 for the opposite side.
- Disconnect hose assembly (11) .

- Remove bolt (12) that retains transmission filler tube (13) .

- Remove two bolts (14) from transmission filler tube (13) . Place transmission filler tube (13) to the side.
- Remove 12 bolts (15) .

- Reposition transmission (6) away from the engine to provide clearance. Lower transmission (6) to the ground.
