Engine News SEBD9822, 24 October 2012, "New Injectors Are Used In Certain C7 and C9 Commercial Engines ". Disregard this article. Refer to the article that follows. The effectivity and part numbers have changed.

Description of Change: New injectors are used in certain C7 and C9 machine engines. The new injectors utilize increased hardening and wear coating to critical injector parts in order to minimize damage from oil-side debris. These changes will improve symptoms such as misfire, rough running, as well as fuel dilution of the engine oil.

Adaptable To: Refer to Table 1 for the correct injector part numbers.
