Operational Checks

Usage:

450F HJR

------ WARNING! ------

Sudden movement of the machine or release of oil under pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent possible injury, perform the procedure that follows before the test is done.

  1. Start the engine.

  1. Lower the stabilizers and lift the rear wheels 150 mm (6 inch) off the ground.

  1. Use the bucket hydraulic control to lower the bucket to the ground and use the bucket to raise the front wheels 150 mm (6 inch) off the ground.

  1. The engine speed needs to be at LOW idle.

  1. Move the lever for the forward/reverse shuttle and move the lever for the transmission speeds while the engine is running and the brakes are engaged.

  1. Operate the machine in each direction and in all speeds. Make a note of the noises that are not normal and find the source of the noises. If the operation is not correct, make reference to the Check List During Operation for problems and for probable causes.

  1. Lower the machine to the ground.

  1. Run the engine at LOW idle. Engage the parking brake. Stop the engine.
