New onboard software version 6.8 is now available for download. This Service Magazine article summarizes the improvements that are included in Cat® Terrain for draglines version 6.8 onboard software.

The new onboard software version 6.8 replaces the former version 6.6.1 that was released in June 2011.

Customers who wish to upgrade from v6.6.1 or earlier must use Terrain for draglines base image v6.8.

The new onboard software is available to download from the following site:

https://mining.cat.com/terrainsupport

Note: Terrain for draglines base image v6.6.1 will no longer be available.

Before performing a new installation on a dragline system that is supported, ensure to use the latest version 6.8. Refer to the media listed above for the setup procedures and configuration of Terrain for draglines.
