Special Instruction, SEHS8700, "Installation of Engine Flexible Mounting Group" is available through normal literature ordering channels.
If a radiator is used on any of the above units, radiator mounts are required. Previously, there was a radiator mounts are required. Previously, there was a radiator mounting group available as an option, but it was not used much. Without the mounts under the radiator, the front rails could sag, and in some instances, cracks would form on the rail or oil pan at the front attachment bolt holes. The Special Instruction provides the instructions to install a flexible mounting group. The 9Y8234 and 9Y8235 Radiator Mounting Groups are the affected groups.
