The braking system has two brake control circuits operating four-wheel brakes on the machine. The service brake circuit and the parking brake circuit.

The main components of the service brake circuit are: hydraulic tank (29), pilot and braking pump (37), check valve (42), brake accumulator charging valve (44), rear brake accumulator (14), front brake accumulator (15), service brake and transmission neutralizer pedal (16), service brake pedal (17), service brake control valve (25), front wheel brakes (9) and rear wheel brakes (35) .

The main components of the hydraulic parking brake section are: hydraulic tank (29), pilot and braking pump (37), check valve (42), pilot oil pressure reducing valve (43), parking brake control valve (8), front wheel brakes (9), rear wheel brakes (35) and various lines.

(45) Filler cap

Hydraulic tank (29) is located in the middle of the right side of the machine behind the hydraulic tank guard. Additional oil is placed into the tank through filler cap (45).

Pilot and braking pump (37) is part of a three section, vane type pump mounted on the torque converter updrive housing.

Brake accumulator charging valve (44) is located on the left side of the rear frame.

Rear brake accumulator (14) and front brake accumulator (15) are located on the left side of the rear frame.

Service brake pedal (17) and service brake and transmission neutralizer pedal (16) are located on the floor of the operator station. Service brake control valve (25) is located under the floor of the operator station.
