Start By:
- Install the body retaining pin.
- Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedure.
- Position a suitable container below the steering piston pump in order to contain the hydraulic oil for storage or disposal.

Illustration 6 g01314042 - Remove bracket assembly (11). Loosen clamps (8). Remove clamps (10) from both ends of tube assembly (9). Remove tube assembly (9).

Illustration 7 g01314043 - Reposition tube assembly (5). Disconnect hose assemblies (12) and (13) from steering pump (14).

Illustration 8 g01314073 - Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to steering pump (14). The weight of steering pump (14) is approximately
36 kg (80 lb) . Remove bolts (15). Remove steering pump (14) and the O-ring seal.
- Install steering pump (14) in the reverse order of removal.
