输送到车轮的动力由差速器分配。 差速器平衡输送到各个车轮的动力的量。 在转向期间,差速器允许内侧车轮转动的速度低于外侧车轮。 但差速器仍旧会输送相同扭矩到各个车轮。

分动箱和伞齿轮固定在后桥壳体上。 差速器和伞齿轮将变矩器的输出轴与驱动轴相连。 小伞齿轮 (2) 转动伞齿轮 (8) 。 伞齿轮 (8) 固定在差速器总成 (9) 上。 共有四个差速器伞齿轮 (16) 。 差速器伞齿轮 (16) 可在十字轴 (15) 上自由转动。 每个差速器伞齿轮 (16) 都有一个双轴承组件以便承载差速器伞齿轮的驱动负载。 差速器总成 (9) 的两部分用螺栓结合在一起以便固定十字轴 (15) 。 差速器壳体 (9) 的两部分与伞齿轮 (8) 一同旋转。 壳体由伞齿轮 (8) 驱动。 壳体由轴承支撑。

差速器伞齿轮 (16) 以 90 度角与两个直边齿轮 (14) 接合。 侧边齿轮用花键与驱动轴相连。

当机器直向行驶且每个驱动轮牵引力相等时,两个车轮负载相同。 可感觉到每个车桥上的扭矩相同。 该扭矩会固定住差速器伞齿轮 (16) ,以使差速器伞齿轮不会在十字轴 (15) 上转动。 该扭矩将提供相同的效果,如同两个驱动车轮固定在相同的驱动轴上。

当差速器负载施加在驱动车轮上时,差速器伞齿轮 (16) 会转动,这是由于差速器相对两侧上的力不相等。 在转向期间,差速器小伞齿轮的转动将允许内侧车轮转动更慢,而外侧车轮转动更快。 转向时机器以全功率驱动。

侧边齿轮 (14) 转动方向与止推垫圈 (13) 相反。 差速器小伞齿轮 (16) 对差速器壳体的末端推力由一个双轴承组件承受。

注: 该轴承组件必须两个一套进行更换。

调节环 (5) 、锁 (7) 和螺栓 (6) 用于在小伞齿轮 (2) 和伞齿轮 (8) 之间进行的调整。 调节环也用于调整轴承的轴承预载。

差速器由后轮轴壳体中的油进行润滑。 随着零件转动,油被分散到壳体内部四周。 止推垫圈 (13) 上的螺旋槽允许润滑油在止推垫圈和侧边齿轮 (14) 之间流动。
