Introduction
Do not perform any procedure in this Special Instruction until the entire instruction has been read and understood.
The new mounting for the engine control and the new wiring harnesses provide the following improvements:
- More rugged mounting to the engine
- A fully enclosed harness for the engine Electronic Control Module (ECM)
- New breakout harnesses for increased serviceability
The new mounting for the engine control and the new harnesses are effective with the captive engine serial number S/N:LLM00217.
The new groups are listed in Tables 1 and 2.
