Start By:

a. remove fan

Fan Clutch Assembly And Fan Adapter

1. Disconnect wiring harness (1).

2. Disconnect flexible strap (2).

3. Remove six bolts (4) and the washers. Remove fan clutch assembly and fan adapter (3).

NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the fan clutch assembly.

4. Put fan adapter (3) and fan clutch assembly (5) in position on the fan drive. Install the six washers and bolts (4) that hold it.

5. Fasten flexible strap (2) to the clutch assembly using M6 bolts, oversize washers and locking nuts. Leave slack in the flexible strap so there is no fore or aft movement.

6. Connect wiring harness (1).
