Articulated Truck: 740 EJECTOR (S/N: AZZ1-UP; B1R1-UP)

A special instruction for the body heating kit is available. This special instruction is for articulated trucks.

Refer to Special Instruction, REHS4035, "Field Installation of a Body Heating Kit", for further information.

Bodies on 740 EJECTOR B1R470-UP are manufactured in order to be ready for heating by exhaust gases. The Special Instruction covers the installation procedures for the required components to direct exhaust gases from the tractor to the trailer.

Bodies on 740 EJECTOR AZZ1-UP and B1R1-470 were not manufactured for heating by exhaust gases. The Special Instruction covers the modification to the body that is needed in order to allow the body to be heated by exhaust gases. This Special Instruction also covers the installation procedure to install the required components to direct exhaust gases from the tractor to the trailer.
