(1) Tactical Monitor (2) Notification log |
Tactical monitor (1) is the primary monitor for machine operation. Notification log (2) displays information and warnings, for example, proximity warning and LADAR pollution warning.
When the notification log button on the motion control joystick is clicked, a list of the last ten cleared faults will appear on the screen. Each notification will be listed with an asterisk and the time cleared. When the notification log button is clicked again, the display goes back to the active codes.
Note: Any error resulting in a switch to "Stop" or "Standby" means that there is no action required to rectify the situation.
ReferenceFor more information on the tactical monitor, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Tactical Monitor Display".
Accessing the Diagnostics
Use the tactical monitor display to diagnose system faults.
Use the following screens for system diagnostics:
- Home screen
- Summary screen
- Diagnostics
- Advanced screen
- Setup

(8) "Machines" (9) Local Area Radio Network (LARN) (10) "Configuration Database" |
The "Diagnostics" menu shows the items that are able to display further diagnostics. No changes to configuration are made in this section.
"Machines" (8) - Shows information regarding a specific machine.
"LARN" (9) - Shows information about the LARN.
"Configuration Database" (10) - Shows information about the system configuration database.
"Machines"

Typical example (11) "Machine" identification (12) Machine "Model" (13) "AECM" IP address (14) MINEGEM "Version" |
Click "Machines" (8) on the diagnostics screen to display a list of machines configured at the site. The list includes:
- "Machine" identification (11)
- Machine "Model" (12)
- "AECM" IP address (13)
- MINEGEM "Version" (14)
Select the machine in the "Machine" column to run initial diagnostics.
"LARN" Screen

Typical example (15) "Name" column (16) "IP Address" column (17) "Status" column (18) "Location" column (19) "Action" column (20) OR-K80K000309 (21) "Last Seen" indication (22) "Signal Strength" |
The LARN screen displays a list of all radios on the network in "Name" column (15). Radios that have been on the network since the site server computer was rebooted or when the area manager was restarted also appear. Click on the radio "IP Address" in the "IP Address" column (16) to visit the radios home configuration page. Click "Change" in "Action" column (19) to edit the field in "Location" column (18) .
"Status" column (17) indicates that the LARN radio is OK or shows "Last Seen" indication (21). The number of minutes indicates the time since the LARN radio was detected.
The field that has OR-K80K000309 (20) listed shows that J80N00104 can detect an onboard radio and "Signal Strength" (22) is at "34.3% (-73 dBm)".
Database Server Menu
Illustration 7 | g01837735 |
Typical example (23) "Global Database Connection" (24) "Local Database Connection" (25) "More..." |
The "Global Database Connection" page confirms that the configuration database is functioning as expected. The page verifies that the database software is operating and both "Global Database Connection" (23) configuration and "Local Database Connection" (24) configuration are loaded. "Global Database Connection" (23) configuration and "Local Database Connection" (24) configuration should exist and have a number of tables loaded. The "Setup" page will reload and archive both "Global Database Connection" (23) configuration and "Local Database Connection" (24) configuration.
The default view shows the tables present in each database, and the records contained in each.
A more detailed view is available by clicking "More..." (25) link at the bottom left of the page.
