(1) Use the following procedure in order to install the position sensor:
- The magnetic pulse pickup which has been already assembled should be replaced with the kit for the pulse pickup.
- Hand tighten the position sensor to full engagement.
- Unscrew the position sensor to 1/8 of a turn and then secure the position sensor.

(2) Torque for two bolts ... 40 ± 8 N·m (30 ± 6 lb ft)
(3) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of two pipe fittings with brush.

(4) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of the reducer with brush.
(5) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of two pipes with brush.
(6) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of the pipe adapter with brush.
(7) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of the plug with brush.

(8) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of the elbow with brush.

(9) As required, use 8C-7136 Shim in order to align the pump with the motor:
- Quantity ... 12
- Thickness of one shim ... 0.794 mm (0.0313 inch)
(10) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of the coupling with brush.
