- Enter the operations area.

- Move the machine to an area that can be viewed from the Barrier Control Panel (BCP).
- Check that amber MAS warning light (1) and red autonomous control warning light (2) are secure and not damaged.
Severe injury or death may result from exiting the operator station when the red autonomous control warning light or amber machine automation system warning light is flashing. Move the autonomous control switch to the OFF position before exiting the operator station and immediately investigate the problem. |

- Move the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.

- Move remote control switch (3) to the ON position. Move autonomous control switch (4) to the ON position.
- Move autonomous control enable switch (5) to the ON position.
- Check amber MAS warning light (1) will flash.
- Remove personal lockout from isolation switch (8) on BCP (6) .

- Move BCP isolation switch (8) to the ON position.
- Move BCP shutdown switch (9) clockwise.
- Depress BCP shutdown reset switch (7) for two seconds.
- Check red autonomous control warning light (1) will flash.
Note: If the system did not perform as described, complete any necessary repairs before the machine is returned to operation.
