The hydraulic lines for the ride control on the listed models of medium wheel loaders have been improved. The new hose routing will improve reliability and the life of the hose. Refer to the following procedure in order to change the hydraulic hose routing on the listed machines.

Note: This rework procedure is a field procedure. This procedure is adaptable to all of the above listed machine.

1. Remove hose (A), hose (F), tube (E), and elbow (D) .

2. Remove tube (C). Do not discard tube (C) .

3. Remove manifold (B). Flip manifold (B). Reinstall manifold (B) with the existing bolts and washers. Refer to Illustration 3 for correct orientation.

4. Reinstall tube (C) .

(1) 8T-0404 Elbow (2) 7J-9108 O-Ring Seal (3) 3D-2824 O-Ring Seal (4) 163-3228 Hose As (5) 263-6120 Hose As (6) 157-2348 Elbow

1. Install 8T-0404 Elbow (1), 7J-9108 O-Ring Seal (2), and 3D-2824 O-Ring Seal (3) onto the manifold.

2. Install 263-6120 Hose As (5), 157-2348 Elbow (6), and 7J-9108 O-Ring Seal (2) .

3. Reposition the 45 degree elbow and install 163-3228 Hose As (4) .

4. Install 253-3712 Hose As (7), 8C-8989 Elbow (8), and 6V-8398 O-Ring Seal (9) .

5. Install 6V-8398 O-Ring Seal (9), 6V-8942 O-Ring Reducer (10), and 6V-8556 Nut (11) .

6. Connect 157-2348 Elbow (6) onto 6V-8942 O-Ring Reducer (10) .
