Introduction

The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

There have been reports of the 279-4358 Bar on certain Motor Graders coming in contact with the front wheels. The lean bar will contact the wheels in certain configurations of the front axle during specific operating conditions.

The chamfer on the edge of the 279-4358 Bar will need to be extended in order to keep this contact from occurring. Use a standard grinder in order to remove the material that is shown in Illustration 3.
