The design of the 268-5902 Lever As prevented a good weld from being applied.

New design of the 268-5902 Lever As

The design of the lever has been changed from a two-piece welded design to a one-piece formed design. Also, a gusset has been added. The improvements provide a stronger lever and the improvements eliminate a welded joint.

The new design of the 268-5902 Lever As became effective on the following machines.

The new design of the 268-5902 Lever As is adaptable to first production on the listed machines.
