- Off-Highway Truck:
- 797 (S/N: 5YW1-UP)
797B (S/N: JSM1-UP)
A new Protection cover for the ground level control is now available on the 797 Off-Highway Truck.
The 797 Off-Highway Truck have an unsealed ground level control which is mounted on the right side of the front bumper. The switches that are contained in the ground level control are the engine shutdown switch, the transmission neutralizer switch, the battery disconnect switch, the start switch and the switches for the flood lamps. Mud, water, and debris will build up around wiring harnesses, connectors and switches in a unprotected ground level control. The collection of this debris may lead to component damage.
The new 285-0921 Protection Cover Gp has been developed in order to cover the existing ground level control. The protection cover will protect the exposed components from debris and water when the machine is washed.
