Modulating Valve (Transmission Hydraulic Control) - Remove and Install

Usage:

777G GT7

Removal Procedure

  1. Install the body retaining pin. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Body Retaining Pin - Install".

  2. Remove cover (1).

  3. Disconnect hose assembly (3). Disconnect harness assembly (4). Remove bolts (2). Remove modulating valve (5).

  4. Repeat Step 3 for the remaining modulating valves.

  5. Bolts (2) are a different length at Position X.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position modulating valve (5). Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 30 ± 4 N·m (22 ± 3 lb ft). Connect hose assembly (3). Connect harness assembly (4).

  2. Repeat Step 1 for the installation of the other modulating valves.

  3. Bolts (2) are a different length at Position X.

  4. Install cover (1).

  5. Remove the body retaining pin. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Body Retaining Pin - Remove".
