Installation Procedure

1. Use Tool (C) in order to slide mixing chamber assembly (1) and the rotor under the machine.

2. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the mixing chamber. Lift the mixing chamber and the rotor and remove Tooling (C). The weight of the mixing chamber and the rotor is approximately 7940 kg (17500 lb).

3. Install bolts (14) .

4. Install drive shaft (14) and bolts (13) to differential (12) .

5. Remove Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting sling from the mixing chamber and the rotor axle.

6. Attach a suitable lifting device to the chain cases. Raise the chain cases and remove the suitable blocks between the chain cases and the mixing chamber. The weight of the chain cases and the rotor assembly is approximately 3950 kg (8700 lb).

7. Install mixing chamber linkage (9), pin (11), and cotter pin (10) to both sides of the mixing chamber.

8. Connect hose assemblies (7) to hydraulic cylinder (8) .

9. Connect hose assemblies (5) to front hood door (6) .

10. Install hydraulic cylinder (4), bolt (3), and nut (2) to mixing chamber (1) .

End By:

1. Install the hydraulic cylinder (rotor lift). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Cylinder (Rotor Lift) - Remove and Install".
2. Install the rotor drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rotor Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
3. Install the oil tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Tank (Rotor Drive Lubrication) - Remove and Install".
4. Install the tire and rim (rear). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim (Rear) - Remove and Install".
